July Wrap Up

So July has come and gone somehow and I have done basically nothing this month. I literally sat and listened to music for days on end and didn’t read that much. I did end up watching a crap ton of Bollywood movies which you will see below and I did a few things but it wasn’t as productive as I hoped it would be.

Top Five UKYA books

Today is UKYA Day! UKYA Day is an internet based campaign run by Lucy from Queen of Contemporary and the goal of the day is to spread the love for UKYA and get people talking about it. Lucy asked bloggers and booktubers to help out by making a post all about the topic of UKYA so I decided that today I would share with you my top 5 UKYA books. This was a difficult list to compile but since I’ve only started reading UKYA this year, I didn’t have as much choice as I imagined others did. This list will go from 5 to 1 with one being my most favourite UKYA read.

Bookish Academy Awards

As the Oscars were on Sunday, I thought it would be great to redo the Bookish Academy Awards tag that was created by Kayla over at Bookadoodles on Youtube. I did this tag last year and I only included books that I read in 2013 so today I thought I’d do it based on books I read in 2014. I may even make this a yearly thing that I do around this time. This tag just takes the Oscar awards and adapts them to make them book related. For each award, I will give a winner and at least one honourable mention.

Top Ten Book Related Problems I Have

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish.

This week was our top ten book related problems that we have and let me just tell you, I have so many. Reading books and reviewing them is great but sometimes it can cause me to have many book related problems so below are just 10 of them.

The British Book Challenge 2015

I know it’s very late but I’ve decided to start participating in the British Book Challenge 2014 hosted by Fluttering Butterflies(click here for her announcement post). I am vowing to read more British books in 2015 so this is why I’ve decided to participate in this challenge.

E-Books vs Physical Books

Today, I’ve decided to finally make the post that I’ve been meaning to make ever since I first started blogging and that is the debate about e-books and physical books and which ones are better. Since I own a kindle and I read physical books as well as reading e-books, I feel like I can make a whole post about it without being biased.

Popsugar 2015 Reading Challenge

This year, I have decided to attempt to take part in the Popsugar 2015 Reading Challenge. This is a list of 50 categories such as a book over 500 pages, a book you were meant to read in school but didn’t etc that you have to try to complete in 2015. I think this will be a fun challenge that could push me out of my comfort zone. Below I have put a copy of the actual challenges for you to check out.

End of 2014 Book Survey

It is now 2015 so to end my posts wrapping up 2014, I thought I’d do the end of 2014 book survey from The Perpetual Page Turner┬ájust to wrap up all of my 2014 end of year posts in one post. I love reading this survey so I thought I’d do it myself. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy reading other peoples.

Wrapping up 2014: Every Book I Read

I’m here again with another post to wrap up 2014 and this time, it will just be a simple list of every book I read this year in chronological order starting from January and the rating I gave them. This probably will not be very interesting but it’s really for my own benefit. If I have done a review of the book(which isn’t really that likely for most of them), I will tell you this and put a link to the review next to it. Also just a note, any novellas that I read will be in red.
