2018 was the year of re-reads for me. I stopped focusing on only reading new books and decided to pick up some of my favourite books again. I loved it. Therefore, I plan on continuing this trend in 2019. Today, I’m going to be discussing with you some of my planned re-reads in 2019.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
This is a book that I’ve been meaning to re-read for years because I loved it when I came out. 2019 is finally going to be the year that I read it in order to prepare for the sequel to come out later this year.
State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury
This is another book that I’m planning on re-reading before the sequel releases in March. I can’t wait to see what happens next but I need to re jog my memory of the first book.
The Sin Eater’s Daughter trilogy by Melinda Salisbury
On the topic of Melinda Salisbury, it’s no secret that her Sin Eater’s Daughter trilogy is one of my favourites yet I’ve never re-read it. I really want to re-read the whole trilogy so that I can tab and annotate the whole thing.
Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
I definitely want to re-read this before volume 2 releases in July and it will only take me around an hour to re-read.
PS I Still Love You by Jenny Han
This is a maybe for this year. I want to re-read this before the movie releases and I’m not sure if the movie is even releasing this year. If it does, I will re-read it.
My So Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma
These last few books are books that I would like to re-read but they aren’t super high priorities. I really want to re-read My So Called Bollywood Life when the UK edition releases in May to support the UK publisher.
Eliza and her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
I read this book almost a year ago now and since then, I’ve had the desire to re-read it. I would love to finally re-read it.
Attachments and Landline by Rainbow Rowell
Rainbow Rowell is my favourite author and I re-read Fangirl quite a lot. However, I would love to re-read Attachments and Landline as I’ve only read each book once so I would love to finally re-read them to see if I still love them.
Those are my planned re-reads for the year. Let me know if you love to re-read too. Do you annotate your books? Let me know down below.
